This is the album of the decade.

It’s also a band funded release, no record label here. SO nice to see people taking money directly out of families mouths, I hope you are all proud of yourselves.

Nobody is taking any money. You must be one of the people who still don’t understand the simple fact – downloading something ISN’T stealing.
Idiot.

Ludde:
Ampcorp supporter didn’t mention anything about stealing. By downloading this here you aren’t putting money into the hands of Amplifier. As this is an entirely self funded release and anyone downloading this who would have normally bought the album now won’t, thereby taking money driectly out of the hands of Amplifier, a hardworking band who want nothing more than to entertain us. By taking away that money they are no longer able to focus on creating music and overall the time taken to produce an album of this quality will increase and quality will decrease as personal cost increases.
For the big bands such as Metallica and Nine Inch Nails (one who opposes downloading and one who actively encourages it) it is less of a problem as they have already made their money but for the smaller bands and those just starting out it hurts a lot more.
In essence downloading may not be the same as conventional theft/stealing but it is hurting the artist who wants nothing more than to entertain you and do something they love doing.
Idiot

@Ampcorp supporters:
So here I am keen to give this album a listen (and maybe even consider this band worth my time) when I read the comments and think:
‘Gee, you know what? I would buy this album IF it turns out to be of acceptable quality and memorable enough to warrant owning another obsolete piece of plastic. But guess what? Can’t import this to my country.’
So no one benefits now, I can call this band a steaming shitpile and feel no remorse simply because I’m not ‘allowed’ to listen to them.
