   Not exactly FF but kinda remix EP with tracks reworked by LCD Soundystem, Debbie Harry and Peaches made for Records Store Day. Intriguing and worth a listen :)

   Talk about a pleasant little surprise. Given that the band has adopted a zipped lip attitude toward the progress of their next release, finding this little jem today at least tells me their havin’ fun in there – doin’ exactly what they want to until they unleash their next masterpiece. Of course, I’ll be playing this right away, too. :o)

   Okay, this is where the comment ‘truth in advertising’ comes into play. The contents of this EP are as follows: 1) Live Alone – Franz Ferdinand & Debbie Harry 2) What She Came For – ESG 3) Live Alone – LCD Soundsystem 4) Turn It On – Peaches 5) Dream Again – Stephen Merritt.

   So, this is NOT an actual Franz Ferdinand CD EP… and maybe you shouldn’t be listing it as such. When all is said and done, I like the tracks I got (the Franz Ferdinand & Debbie Harry duet is fantastic), and WILL be keeping them… but wouldn’t have been quite so quick to d/l a copy if I knew this info ahead of time. Just sayin’…
