No way has Ghost Brigade ever been ‘Melodic Death Metal’. They aren’t even Death Metal, they are just ‘Metal’ or at best ‘Melodic Metal’.

Ghost Brigade is a five-piece metal band from Jyväskylä, Finland, formed in 2005. They have taken elements from melodic death metal, doom metal and progressive metal into their music.

Don’ t listen to metal (any genre). It brings negative vibes to your soul.

You know, I’d love someone to sit down & define all of this Metalcore, Post-Rock, Grindcore etc. bollocks to me.
Used to just be Heavy Metal, now there’s more varieties than bloody Heinz!!!

It’s just Metal. It’s alright but nothing that stands out as stellar or unique, just something to listen to.

I don’t care for sub-genre as long as the music is good. In other words – composition, musicianship and performer are all of a standard. Basic genre names, like metal or rock only help sub-divide the wealth of music available.
How often do you simply take a chance? I mean, irrespective of whatever genre, you just try something that may not be your usual musical diet. It works for me when I just want to hear some different music. Admittedly, you can have the rough (fingers in throat) but the smooth is usually awesome!
