   Wow, this new Bad Brains is actually pretty damn good! It sounds like they finally got H.R. on the right medication for a couple days… or he was at least temporarily sane enough to sing some actual lyrics on this album. On the last album, the music was really solid but it sounded like they recorded all the music then whet in to the studio and had to hack up H.R.’s vocal takes with the little bit of options they had in order to complete the album. Listen and you will hear what I mean. The man is a legend but completely insane. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, download the Dillinger Four live album and there are some hilarious and classic answering machine messages that H.R. left on the club First Avenue’s answering machine when Bad Brains canceled their show there. (Due to H.R. going AWOL at the Canadian border crossing) Anyways, all craziness aside. Where this is NOT as classic “The ROIR Sessions”, From first listen, it definitely seems to be the best Bad Brains album in quite some time.

   …what is this ?…I didn’t hear anything worst for a long time.Bad Brains don’t do next record go to Florida instead.
