Take away the Mark II picture, please.
MK 2 were Gods.
The band on the recent album is more a tributeband that does NOT know how to write classics/hardrock.
All the songs are of the same tempo and only for a moment or 2 the speed breaks out of his coffin.
In general this album is a rehash of what went before on earlier Morse albums.
Live they will fell back on the older M K 2 stuff after a short while promoting max 4 new songs.
Gillan cant sing rock anymore, Ian paice drums likes he is ina a coma, Steve Morse after almost 20 years still does not get it, let alone scale the heights of Blackmore who made IN ROCK when he was 25!!!SM is now almost 60, and he still plays the same solo over and over again.
He does not know what a RIFF is, let alone how to writre one.
Don Airey is ok, but totally misses the scope of RIP Jon Lord.
TAKE AWAY THAT PICTURE AND SHOW THE PEOPLE THE GRANDDADDIES OF NOW.
