   This is not appear to be an official release (not with this tracklist anyway). Is this “Best Of” album just somebody putting together their favorite ELP songs?

   @TANTINE That’s because Tarkus was not on the original version,from 1980. This is a remastered and expanded edition. Even so,there’s only so much room on a CD [80 minutes max],so they couldn’t include everything!

   This is just yet another ELP “re-hash” by the record company to try and sell some of their former music. I originally had this on vinyl back in the day, and it only had 9 songs on it. So its basically being remastered (we hope) and re-issued with 7 additional bonus tracks. Plus, anybody who is an ELP fan already has Tarkus.
