I now have Lit’s “The View From The Bottom”, The Offspring’s “Days Go By”, Linkin Park’s “Living Things”, The Smashing Pumpkin’s “Oceania” and at last (but not least) Everclear’s “Invisible Stars”. Now I’m totally pumped up for the summer season! Bring it on!

Of course Rock is Dead! For those who seek for the same stuff for all the eternity, without recognizing that there are bands worth listen to, even if they are not exactly the same, or don’t sound like classic bands! I think that Smashing Pumpkins and Everclear are not going to sound like they used to, but that doesn’t mean that there is no more Good Rock being done…There are too many bands, too many music spread around the world for you to consider Rock definitely dead…Or do you know every single band of the Earth?
Anyway…nice post! Glad to see Everclear recording again…Will try it, and maybe I’ll be disappointed, but at least I’ll try…

Let me say it clearsly Rodrigo : Rock – like we used to know – is dead. There aren’t any big Rock bands at the moment. The last big Rock band was the Foo Fighters.
Theese bands like Everclear and Smashing Pumpkins were big bands, but in the 90’s, not now.

I just want to say that rock is rock, no matter if it’s the 1990’s, the 2000’s or the 2010’s. Who gives a damn about whether they are popular today or not? They were huge in the 1990’s when I was a kid, and now they are back to rock my world? Rock is still alive even if it is in the underground. I – like many other people – refuse to let the pop industry tell me what to wear, what to do and what to think. Trust me, rock will never die ;)

Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si, who cares if they’re not as big as they once were, who gives a fuck. They make good music still don’t they ? also talking about the Foo Fighters doesn’t help your argument, seeing as though their music has become more and more generic….

question for the Adim:
are these real Flac rips or mp3 files re-converted to Flac’s?
I can’t tell a difference between the two

Mathias was joking. And he forgot to mention the new Papa Roach. And Local H. And Incubus. The list goes on. And is just, like, icing on the molded cake. A mix of dads working WAY past their prime. But sincere props to them. I sit in a cubicle 9 hours a day. Who’s got the better job, I wonder?
